A writer who published 3 short novels. Karl also taught English in five different countries and to students ages five to seventy-five.

Karl earned his AA degree in medical illustration at Der Kölner Werkshullen fur Bildenden Kunst, a BA in English Literature at California State University, Sacramento, as well as a B.Sc. degree in electrical engineering. He also earned his electrical journeyman’s ticket from The International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers # 180 in San Francisco. While in Saudi Arabia he earned his offshore sailing licence in Jeddah, and learned to fly at Karl Harter Field in Lincoln, California.

All of the aforementioned financed by working at whatever time, place and circumstance presented, from pick & shovel laborer to electrical engineer for Siemens Power Generation in Timelkam, Austria and The National Science Foundation at McMurdo Station, Antarctica.

His most passionate pursuit is teaching, in particular the teaching of English. The international standard for virtually all forms of communication and will remain so due to the adaptability of the English language, ready and willing to accept words and entire phrases of other languages, colloquialisms, slang and “eh-gads” even rap!

Karl has taught English in five different countries and to students ages five to seventy-five. As such he enthusiastically looks forward to passing on his knowledge of this lovely language. Extensive as his skills might be, students should take heart, as even within this diatribe more than an error or two.
